Robert Hume Breese is the son of Jennie Elmina Ray-Breese, the 5th of 12 children born to Clyde and Ella Ray, and the eldest daughter. As the home passed thru the second generation, Robert and his family occupied the house for a number of years. Most of his family, including Ron Breese a prominent local realtor who represented the house, reside in Waynesville to this day and are very much connected to the original homestead.
