Growing up the daughter of an Irishman, St. Patrick’s Day will always be one of my favorite fun holidays to celebrate! Every year my dad pulls out his shamrock tie and dons his “Kiss Me I’m Irish” button and spends the day celebrating his heritage. I have always loved watching him celebrate this day that is near and dear to his heart. Join us in the Mountains for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend! We have put together the perfect package to make it a fun-filled weekend getaway! When you arrive, a special St. Patrick’s Day gift basket will be waiting for you in your room, the basket will include local goodies to get you through your busy weekend! On Saturday afternoon you will hop on the Leap Frog Tour bus for a “Hoppy” Beer & Art Tour from 1-4 pm on Saturday March 17th. The tour will start at Frog Level Brewery with a mini canvas painting experience and a pint of one of their awesome beers. You will then be off to Blue Ridge Beer Hub for an informative talk about the “art” of home brewing and of course a pint of beer to enjoy during the presentation. The tour will end at Boojum Brewery on Main Street where you will enjoy a pint or flight, learn about the “art” of their beer styles, and a presentation about the artists inspirations of their logo and beer labels. You can then spend the remainder of the afternoon exploring downtown Waynesville for the Winter Arts Smokies Style celebration.
