4th Annual New Year’s Eve Ball in the Hall

Ring in the new year with a somewhat unconventional soundtrack at the Asheville Music Hall! The Grass is Dead and Songs From the Road Band will be performing from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. The Asheville Music Hall is a mid-sized venue offering an intimate space perfect for kicking back and having a good time. 

New Year’s Eve Classical Mystery Tour

The Asheville Symphony and the Classical Mystery Tour band join to bring you this fun night of Beatles tunes. They’ll perform hits from throughout the Beatles’ career, including the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album in its entirety.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at ExploreAsheville.com Arena

This New Year’s Eve, the Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will present the “Electric Kool-Aid Asheville Test, a Psychedelic New Years Celebration” at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. They’ll present a blend of funky, electronic jams perfect for grooving the night away.

On New Year’s Day

If you didn’t overdo it the night before, there are also plenty of things happening on New Year’s Day in Asheville. Hit the ground running when it comes to your resolutions by attending the 6th Annual Resolution Run 10 Mile and 5K Run/Walk. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, support local first responders by taking part in the Polar Plunge at Lake Lure
